A very trendy product seems to be the massaging cushions. These fit in most standard chairs and have the same basic effect of an actual massaging chair. These are convenient because they are portable and can be used just about anywhere, even at the office or on vacation.
Most massaging chairs and products come with a built in heating system so you can finally do away with all of those old heating pads. This feature can be used in combination with massaging or all by itself.
Massaging chairs come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They have some that look like your average desk chair and they have some that look like normal recliners. They have some that are close to your normal recliners but a bit different. And then they have some that you can tell are not your normal chairs. These look more like machines of some sort than actual chairs.
The message chairs that resemble machines are closer to being just that. These are really more like the tables you can buy and are for you to sit or lie on in order for someone to actually give you a message. These are not electric and do not actually do anything but may have options for providing heat therapy.
So what price will you pay for massaging chairs or similar products? The prices start out at about $100 for a very basic desk chair and go up to over $4000 for some of the high end recliners. A basic recliner will run at about $400 to $500 for a refurbished one. Most come with leg and calf massagers and some of the chairs come with an ottoman.
When deciding on a price range you should keep in mind that this chair is a great investment that may well save you loads of money in the future on expensive spa treatments and so forth. These chairs offer a full body massage without ever leaving your home.
