Loneliness is a plague in this world in which we live. There are billions and billions of people on the planet, but many of these people live alone. Many of the people who don't live alone live with extreme loneliness. Women in particular are often looking for information regarding:

a) How to make a man fall in love with little ole' me

b) How to make a man love you

c) How to love a man all the time

d) How to love a guy through and through

e) How to make a man love you forever and ever

Did you know that a man is a different type of "animal"? Many a woman has spent a sleepless night tossing and turning trying to not only figure them out, but to determine the best way to show that they love that special guy who shares their life. Are presents for men the only way to show that guy that you care? No. In this article we will be exploring the various ways in which you can show that special guy that you deeply care about, and even love him.

Food and Such...

"The Way To A Man's Heart Is Through His Stomach". We've all heard this saying before right? Now we won't go so far as to say that the only way to get a man to love you is to go through his stomach, it is true that most guys love good food, and all the work and thought that has gone into making it.

1) For starters we will begin with the first meal of the day, which is breakfast. Why not make him something truly special to get his day off on the right foot? Think he might like some heart-shaped pancakes? If he's not into pancakes how about trimming the corners off a piece of toast to replicate the shape of a heart? Even the butter that could accompany this dish could be trimmed into a heart shape. It will go great on those pancakes or toast. Yummy!!!

2) Lunch is the next meal of the day. A lot of guys take their lunch from home, and this provides you with a great opportunity to show that you love him. Why not make him his special meal for lunch, and top it off with a note saying "I love you"? Will he ever be surprised...especially when he is looking to unpack that same ole sandwich and such...

3) The evening dinner is the main meal of the day for most people. It's a time when you can sit back and relax the most during the day. How about a candlelight dinner with some scented candles? Why not play his favorite soothing and romantic music in the background. Be sure that you make his favorite meal to compliment the evening.

4) Snacks are often eaten throughout the day, but a romantic snack is a very memorable invent. I wonder, did you have that special treat that you ate together when you first started dating? An ice cream cone and a walk along the lake perhaps? Nobody says that you can't recreate this experience again by "retracing your steps". Bring on the romantic snack!

Affection

We all need to know that people care about us, and men are included in this group. Sure, they may be the "strong, silent type", but they can still get a teary eye when they watch a sad or romantic movie. To show that special guy that you love him, here are a few ways:

1) A hug says so, so much. When he least expects it, why not give him one. Come up from behind, put your arms around him, and give him a great big bear hug. You could whisper "I love you" into his ear. No need to overdo this mind you...keep it special.

2) Listen, plain and simple. So many times when the guy comes home from work his ear falls off from the events of "your day". He probably wants to relax a bit and not hear all about your woes and worries. Sit back and listen to what he has to say for a change. Instead of trying to change the subject all the time, truly listen, and offer "I'm listening responses", like "I see" or "Hmmm"...

3) There are some guys who don't want to talk when they get home from work. They want to unwind. Give them that time. Let them relax and compose themselves. They will probably talk your ear off once they get a chance to relax a bit, but give them their space when they first come home.

4) There are a lot of guys who love a good massage. If you are gifted in this way, why not use your talent? The human touch is a very powerful thing. Gentleness is important...no need to "work him over". Give him a back rub, or run your fingers through his hair. He will tell you what he likes if you give him the chance. This is a great way for you both to unwind and prepare for the evenings events.

Activities With Romance

A lot of guys are very energetic and adventurous. They love to try out new things and test their manliness along the way. Here are some of the things that you can do to show that you love him:

1) Pure and simple, get out of that special "box" you have built around yourself and do something that you would not normally do. Do you hate football? Instead of complaining about the sport, why not join your man on the couch and try, I mean really try, to understand it. Instead of getting that "ugh" look on your face, why not ask them sincere questions. What's a first down? What is a quarterback? You know the type of questions we are talking about. He will be taken by surprise at first, but since he loves the game, he will love to explain the finer points to you. If he's not into football you can do a bit of research before hand to determine what questions to ask. He will remember it...trust me...

2) Does that special guy in your life have chores that he needs to do around the house? Surprise him, and do it for him. Let's take an example. Suppose he needs to take out the trash every week. You could do it for him and tell him that since he is working so hard you decided to help him out. Make sure that he realizes you are helping him out. He might think that you enjoy doing it so much that you have bought yourself yet one more thing to do around the house... :)

3) Pillow fight anyone? Most of us have left pillow fights behind with our childhood...back when we used to jump up and down on the bed. Who says we need to leave all the fun behind when we grow up? Here's a thought. One night, when you are getting ready for bed, hall off and "wallop" him! He'll be taken by surprise, for sure...but he might get a kick out of it. Be prepared for him to hall off and "wallop" you back. Let the action begin!

Compliments Are Great

We all love compliments. We like to hear nice things about our clothes, about our hair, about our jewelry, about our kindness. Here are a few great ways in which you can compliment a guy:

1) Say nice complimentary things about your guy when you are out with others. Tell others how special he is, or how hard he works, or how much he cares. Word will eventually get back to that man of yours, and he will be thrilled that all the good aspects of his character have not gone unnoticed.

2) Some guys are really into clothes, and they love to show off their "sense of style". If that special guy in your life loves clothes, be sure that you notice all his efforts, and doubly make sure that you tell him that you notice. He will appreciate the fact that others, especially you, notice.

3) Is there anything that the man in your life does that you really appreciate? Perhaps a certain chore around the house? Maybe he does the dishes? Maybe he's good at taking the baby out for a walk? Maybe he makes dinner from time to time? If there is something that he does that you really appreciate, make sure that you let him know.

4) You could always leave some little romantic notes in places that he will find them. Why not put one on the bathroom mirror for example? He will see it when he gets up in the morning. Why not put one on the steering wheel of his car? He will see it when he drives to work in the morning.
